Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that AS Monaco are stepping up their efforts to sign AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.
The Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani was in Monte Carlo yesterday to negotiate the deal and everything suggests an agreement will be reached in the coming days.
Boateng is looking to leave San Siro after being the subject of a racist incident earlier in the season, while he is also unhappy at being played out of position.
At the same time, Milan officials are hoping to cash in on the Ghana international in the summer in order to make way for Alessandro Diamanti.
With the Rossoneri set to earn at least €15 million from the sale of Boateng, they plan to immediately invest €10 million in the Bologna playmaker.
Meanwhile, the San Siro outfit are also stepping up their interest in Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, who has just one year left on his deal at Etihad.
