(GSM) – Jerome Boateng has told Hamburger SV that he wishes to leave the club in the summer, with reports in Germany claiming he has already agreed a move to Manchester City.

The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League this season with City high on the list of his possible suitors.

And it is now reported that Boateng has agreed a move to Eastlands that could be worth in the region of £11 million, although HSV are adamant that no deal has been concluded for the Germany international.

However, Boateng looks to leave HSV after spending two seasons with the Bundesliga club, whom he joined from Hertha Berlin in 2007.

A club spokesman said: “Jorg Neubauer, Jerome Boateng’s agent, has informed us that the player wants to move. There is no deal agreed yet, however.”
