Boateng shows interest in Tottenham

According to a recent report from Bild, Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng is said to be “honoured” by being linked with Tottenham Hotspur.

Boateng is widely considered to be one of the most consistent defenders in Europe by many fans and pundits alike, although there are some who feel as if he isn’t quite at his best right now.

It seems as if his stay in Germany isn’t going to last for a whole lot longer and if it doesn’t, there’s every chance in the world he decides to make the transition over to North London to join Tottenham.

Right now there’s an awful lot of uncertainty in the air about what the next few months hold for the beautiful game, and you’d have to think Tottenham’s potential status in the European Super League could impact Boateng’s decision.

For now, though, it’s anyone’s guess as to what is going to happen.
