The Football Association of Egypt are set to appoint former USA coach Bob Bradley as the new national team boss.
Egyptian Football Association spokesman Azmy Megahed confirmed the deal was close to being completed.
“All is good. Bradley will be here on Sunday to sign the contract,” EFA spokesman Azmy Megahed told Associated Press.
Long-serving coach Hassan Shehata left the post in June midway through the disappointing Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
Egypt have since been eliminated from the qualifying campaign and the Pharaohs are set to miss their first AFCON after 33 years.
Former USA boss Bob Bradley is set to be appointed as the new national team coach, with the task of leading Egypt to 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
