Hamburg striker Bobby Wood could be leaving the club for greener pastures in the summer, according to Sport Bild.
The 24-year-old has been the only bright spot in yet another disappointing campaign for the Red Shorts and he is now on the radar of bigger clubs.
Even though HSV manager Jens Todt is adamant there have been no offers for their star player, Sport Bild reveals a summer exit is a realistic possibility.
Namely, Wood has a release clause in his contract that stands just above €10 million, which is well within the price range of top European clubs.
The USMNT international managed to score 5 goals in 19 Bundesliga matches this season, climbing in front of Pierre-Michel Lasogga in the pecking order.
Bobby Wood is also a first team regular in the United States soccer team, and he has three goals in eight 2018 World Cup qualifying appearances.
