Hamburger Abendblatt is reporting that Borussia Dortmund have been showing interest in Hamburg striker Bobby Wood.
The Millionaires are believed to be lining up a move for Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang nears summer exit, but they also have few more quality forwards on their wish list.
According to Hamburger Abendtblatt, HSV striker Bobby Wood is one of the players they are looking at.
The USMNT forward has been in fine form this season, scoring 5 goals in 23 Bundesliga outings and he is nearing a summer exit.
A €12 million release clause will be automatically activated in the summer, whereas the buy-out price will be just €5 million in case HSV are relegated.
This is why Hamburg chiefs are ready to go the extra mile to try and persuade Wood to sign a new deal and remain at Imtech Arena at least for another season.
