Argentine forward Carlos Tevez will be returning to Boca Juniors in the near future, according to the club president Daniel Angelici.
The highly rated forward has said on numerous occasions that he would like to end his playing days at La Bombonera, and this could soon become a reality.
The 30-year-old has just over two years left on his deal at Juventus, and chances are that he will be joining Boca when his contract expires in June 2016.
La Xeneize chairman Daniel Angelici is confident Tevez will fulfill his promise and return to the club where it all started for him.
“We always cross paths, Tevez calls me often and we talk,” Angelici told Fox Sports Radio Del Plata.
“He wants to end his career at Boca. I am convinced he will join Boca when his contract (with Juventus) ends, he will end his career at Boca.
“He gave me his word he will return, but he won’t be our next signing as he is still under contract with Juventus.”
Carlos Tevez began his career at La Bombonera and went on to score 26 goals in 75 league appearances before joining Corinthians in 2004.
He has since represented West Ham, Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus, and is now regarded a key player for the Bianconeri.
