Boca Juniors and Fluminense draw in semi final first leg

Boca Juniors and Fluminense held each other to a 2-2 draw in their the first leg of their Copa Libertadores semi final clash.

Defending champions Boca went ahead with a goal from Juan Roman Riquelme after eleven minutes but Thiago Silva levelled for the visitors four minutes later.

Riquelme went on to score again in the 65th minute but ‘Flu’ reacted in a similar manner as in the first half, with Thiago Neves equalizing 11 minutes after Boca’s second goal.

The second leg will be played in Rio de Janeiro on June 4th.
