Argentinian giants Boca Juniors moved into shared first position, beating direct rivals San Lorenzo 1-0 at the Bombonera on Sunday.

San Lorenzo began the day with a three-points advantage over Boca, but the home side struck almost immediately with a seventh-minute goal from Juan Roman Riquelme.

The goal was enough for Boca to secure the victory.

San Lorenzo, Boca and Tigre, who lost to Argentinos on Saturday, all have 26 points from thirteen games. San Lorenzo are officially still leaders, as they have the better goal record.
