According to a recent report from ESPN, Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has been attracting the attention of Boca Juniors.
Rojo made his way back to Argentina on loan during the January transfer window, joining Estudiantes on loan. The 30-year-old has a year left on his current deal in Manchester, but the belief is that Boca want to keep him in Argentina. However, if they want to do so, they will need to meet the valuation that has been set out by United. As it stands, that is £15 million.
Money is more of an obstacle for sides in South America than in Europe, but given the kind of value that has been placed on Rojo in his home country, you’d have to think Boca would be willing to stump up the cash.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does need reinforcements, though, especially at the back, so United fans had better hope that he’s got some back up plans.
