Two goals each from Ahmed Shoukri and Bogy earned Egypt a vital 4-2 victory over Italy. Thanks to this win, the World Youth Championship hosts finish in first place in Group A.

After losing to Paraguay on Monday, Egypt knew that a win over Italy would be necessary to secure a spot in the next round without having to depend on other results.

Ahmed Shoukri did the Egyptians a great favor by opening the score on 23 minutes, but had his goal canceled out by Umberto Eusepi six minutes later.

Shoukri again scored in minute 45, but this time it was Michelangelo Albertazzi to equalize eight minutes after the break.

But Egypt would have the final say at Cairo International Stadium as Bogy, also known as Ahmed Mohamed, scored in the 70th and 80th minutes for a 4-2 win.

Egypt win the group with six points from two games, ahead of Paraguay and Italy. Trinidad and Tobago finish last.
