Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic has agreed to join Ajax on a season-long loan deal.
The 22-year-old has spent the last two campaigns away from Camp Nou, having agreed temporary stays in Serie A with Roma and then Milan.
And the once-capped Spain international is now set for another spell elsewhere, this time with the reigning Eredivisie champions.
Bojan made his first-team debut for Barcelona at the age of 17, coming off the bench during a La Liga fixture against Osasuna to become the youngest player ever to feature for the Catalan club in the Spanish top flight.
Sporadic appearances followed under then-boss Frank Rijkaard, but the forward saw his development stutter as he fell out of favour during the trophy-laden Pep Guardiola era.
His last loan spell with Milan yielded just five starts, and three goals in total.
Bojan was handed his first senior cap for the Spanish national team aged just 18, but has failed to add to his tally in five years since.
