Cadena COPE is reporting that Stoke City forward Bojan Krkic could be returning to Catalonia at the end of the season.
However, rather than moving back to Barcelona, the 26-year-old has been offered to local rivals Espanyol.
It is no secret that los Periquitos are in the market for attacking reinforcements and they are looking at a number of footballers.
According to reports, Espanyol have been offered a chance to sign Bojan Krkic, who is almost certain to leave the Potters in the summer transfer window.
The La Masia graduate was loaned to Mainz in the winter after struggling for playing time at the Britannia Stadium, and he is reportedly keen on returning to Spanish La Liga in the summer.
Krkic has represented AS Roma, AC Milan, Ajax, Stoke City and Mainz since leaving Barcelona in 2011, scoring 28 goals in 135 league appearances.
