Bojinov wants City stay

Manchester City ace Valeri Bojinov insists he is not looking to leave Eastlands, but instead stay at the club and prove himself.

The 22-year-old has been struggling with injuries since joining City.

Bojinov has been linked with a move to Lazio.

“At the moment I am not thinking of moving back to Italy as I have immense aspirations to prove myself at Manchester,” he told the Italian press.

“I feel much better as I have started training with a ball, but I miss the game rhythm.

“At the moment, the team are positioned below expectations, but I am sure that my team-mates know very well what is expected from all of us and I believe things will soon move in the right direction.”
