(GSM) – Bologna Coach Franco Colomba praises the performance of Sampdoria and believes they are the toughest opponents in Italian Serie A.
Franco Colomba gears Bologna up for a battle with, “one of the form teams in Serie A right now – Sampdoria.”
These two sides are in great shape at the moment and are fresh from impressive results.
Sampdoria fought back to defeat Lazio 2-1 and are now in sixth place, while the Rossoblu have won three of their last four games.
“Sampdoria are an opponent who represent one of the top two or three form teams in Serie A right now,” warned the Coach.
He showed respect over Sampdoria, “They deserve the utmost respect from us. Let us also not forget that Sampdoria beat us when we last met back in October, so we know their quality well.”
Colomba continued, “It is true that they went through a rough patch for a while, but they’re back on track now and confirmed what was expected of them pre-season.”
Antonio Cassano made his comeback last week by coming off the bench, but is again expected to watch from the sidelines.
“Cassano is a gem, but they also have Giampaolo Pazzini and Nicola Pozzi who know how to put the ball in the back of the net. We cannot underestimate them,” he added.
