Bologna go after Arnautovic

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Bologna are interested in signing former West Ham striker Marko Arnautovic.

The Austrian, who is seemingly still under contract with Shanghai SIPG, was offered to West Ham United in a potential return deal – but the Hammers turned it down to the money involved. Now, Bologna have entered themselves into the race and have even begun talks.

There’s no way of denying how good Arnautovic is when he plays to his full potential but the real question comes from whether or not he can sustain that on a consistent basis. Plus, after taking a big money deal in China for a few years, many wonder whether or not he still has the same motivation and drive necessary to make a career for himself at the elite level in Europe.

One way or the other, there’s a good chance we’re going to find out in the months to come.
