Bolton to receive Styles apology.

According to the Daily Mail, Bolton will receive an apology from referee Rob Styles for his decision to award a penalty against them at Old Trafford on Saturday.

I’m sure that will be a huge comfort to Gary Megson, the Bolton players and their fans. Their hard work for over an hour was undone by a ridiculous decision, but at least the man who made it is sorry!

These sorts of decisions must not happen any more. At the risk of upsetting Michel Platini, it is becoming hard to find anyone other than him that is completely against the use of video technology in the game.

The game has to move forward and it must look at how technology can help.
