Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci has poured cold water on speculation linking him with a January switch to Bayern Munich.
The highly rated defender has been mentioned as a target for the Bavarian giants, but it appears he wouldn’t even consider moving to Alianz Arena.
Bonucci was quick to end any transfer talk by reiterating his desire to remain in Turin for the foreseeable future.
“A lot has been said and written about my situation. I feel good at Juve. I am just thinking about the pitch and to win in these colours,” Bonucci wrote in his Twitter account.
Bonucci has long ago developed into one of team’s most important players and with his current deal not due to expire before June 2017, the 27-year-old has no intention of leaving the Bianconeri.
The experienced centre-back has been playing at a very high level for both club and country over the last few years and he is regarded as one of most popular footballers in Turin.
Bonucci has been ever present for Juventus this season, having started and finished each of club’s 18 competitive matches this term.
