Bony set for City stay

Wilfried Bony’s agent has insisted that the striker will not be leaving Manchester City this month, according to the Daily Star.

The Ivory Coast international has struggled to hold down a regular starting berth for the Citizens since signing from Swansea City twelve months ago largely due to the form of Sergio Aguero.

Of his seventeen league appearances so far this season, eight have come from the bench while he has scored just four times.

He has racked up just thirty-five outings for Manuel Pellegrini’s side in total, but looks likely to remain with at the Etihad Stadium at least until the end of the season.

City thumped Crystal Palace 4-0 at the weekend to keep the pressure on league leaders Arsenal and next face a trip to West Ham United.

The 2013/14 Premier League champions can now be backed at a price of 1/1 to reclaim the title.
