Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony has put pen to paper one a new one-year deal with Swansea City, according to TalkSport.
The Ivory Coast international has been a revelation since arriving in South Wales, scoring twenty-nine goals in fifty-eight appearances in all competitions, having also been prolific for previous clubs Vitesse Arnhem and Sparta Prague.
Internationally, he has scored ten goals in twenty-seven appearances for his country, two of which came at this summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil.
Liverpool had been strongly linked with a move for the 25 year old, but will now have to look elsewhere as they continue to look for an adequate replacement for Luis Suarez.
Swansea currently sit in fifth place in the Premier League after taking eighteen points from their opening eleven matches.
They travel to champions Manchester City on Saturday afternoon, and can be backed at 7/1 to take all three points.
