Bordeaux president criticises Chamakh

(GSM) – Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud believes Marouane Chamakh is making a huge mistake moving to Arsenal.

The Bordeaux striker will join Arsenal as a free agent when his contract at les Girondins expires in June.

Triaud claims Chamakh agreed to sign for Arsenal “without ever speaking to Arsene Wenger”.

He added: “I believe Marouane has been advised very badly. His departure from the club and how it happened, I do not agree at all.

“Since I have been president of this club there have only been two complicated departures: Sylvain Wiltord and Marouane Chamakh , and coincidentally both chose Arsenal. I do not jump to conclusions I am just making a point.”
