Radio Monte Carlo is reporting that Bordeaux have rejected an initial bid from Inter Milan for star player Malcom.
The Brazilian is widely expected to move to Stadio San Paolo after agreeing personal terms with the Nerazzurri, but the two clubs also need to find common ground.
According to Radio Monte Carlo, Bordeaux turned down the first offer from Italy, believed to have been in excess of €40 million as they were not happy with the proposed terms.
Chances are Inter Milan will soon return with an improved proposal as they seem determined to lure Malcom to Italy this summer.
The 21-year-old has largely impressed since joining Les Girondins from Corinthians, scoring 23 goals and producing 16 assists.
