Bordeaux appear to be closing in on Valenciennes defender Lindsay Rose, according to L’Equipe.
The 22-year-old has already agreed personal terms with les Girondins, but the two sides have yet to reach an understanding.
However, it is believed that will not be a problem since debt-ridden VAFC would settle for a fee in the region of €2 million.
The Ligue 2 side recently rejected an offer from Lyon, but everything suggests they will soon find an agreement with Bordeaux.
Les Girondins boss Willy Sagnol is eager to get reunited with Rose as the pair worked together at France Under-21 side.
Lindsay Rose has made a total of five appearances for the Under-21 team, scoring one goal in the process.
Meanwhile, the highly rated defender featured in 24 Ligue 1 matches for Valenciennes having joined from Laval in January 2013. The centre-back had also spent some eight years in Rennes’ famous youth academy.
