Ligue 1 outfit Bordeaux have announced the signing of French midfielder Jeremy Toulalan from league rivals Monaco.
Les Girodins have been in talks with the veteran footballer for several weeks now, and they eventually managed to complete the deal.
Toulalan had another year left on his contract with Monaco, but the transfer fee was not disclosed by either of the sides.
The 32-year-old spent the majority of his career in French top flight, featuring for Lyon, Nantes and Monaco, while enjoying two seasons with Malaga in La Liga.
Toulalan has successfully represented the Principality club in domestic and European competitions over the last three years, making 82 Ligue 1 outings.
New Bordeaux coach Jocelyn Gourvennec had been looking for an experienced footballer to help his youthful side, and he will no doubt be delighted to have secured the signature of the former France international, who still has a couple of good years ahead of him.
