Bordeaux striker Yoan Gouffran could be set for a January switch to the English Premier League, according to L’Equipe.
The 26-year-old was expected to leave les Girondins in the summer transfer window, but he eventually remained at Stade Chaban-Delmas.
However, L’Equipe claims that the forward will almost certainly leave the club in the January transfer window.
Namely, Gouffran has less than a year left on his deal at Stade Chaban-Delmas, meaning that he will be available at a cut-back price in January.
The French newspaper claims that English Premier League will probably be his next destination, with Everton, Fulham and Aston Villa all keen.
The former French international has finally started playing to his potential, with 14 goals in 34 Ligue 1 games last term making up for his most productive season in Bordeaux shirt.
Gouffran has also enjoyed a bright start to the new season, having scored 3 goals in 5 competitive games for les Girondins.
