(GSM) – Bordeaux have revealed that they won’t be able to afford Nice striker Loic Remy.
Remy, who is also a reported West Ham United target, has had two bids from the Londoners rejected by the Ligue 1 club.
Their latest offer was for €13 million, following an initial bid being rejected.
And Bordeaux chief Jean-Louis Triaud has admitted that they cannot match any such offer.
“I don’t have the finance to bid €13million for the striker, despite him being a very good player – we will see,” Triaud said.
It is believed that Bordeaux have offered €9million for Remy, but that falls way short of Nice’s asking price.
