Borja Bastón 12/5 to score anytime against QPR in Wednesday’s Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: Borja Bastón to score anytime

Odds: 12/5 @ Bet 365

With their sights firmly set on securing a route back to the Premier League this season, Swansea will travel to West London on Wednesday night.

Starting with the hosts, although many around Loftus Road would have been excited by QPR’s 2-1 win over Stoke on the opening weekend, they have once again shown some signs of a struggle defensively. Shipping three against Bristol City in the League Cup last week, they also slumped to a 2-0 defeat when they met the Robins at Ashton Gate over the weekend. With Mark Warburton’s side still looking for their first clean sheet of the new campaign, they have also failed to record a single clean sheet since the 13th of April. Also recording just two domestic victories at Loftus Road in 2019, Wednesday could prove to be another tough test for the former Nottingham Forest boss.

As for the visitors, putting in another impressive display in their 3-2 win against Preston last weekend, Swansea have continued to shine under new boss Steve Cooper. Yet to taste defeat in any competition since the middle of April, the former England youth coach has seen his side now win 10 of their last 11 appearances. With their sights firmly set on making a push for automatic promotion this season, one man to watch in midweek will be the red-hot Borja Bastón. Looking to exploit QPR’s recent defensive struggles, the 26-year-old bagged a brace against Preston over the weekend and already has three goals to his name.
