Manchester United are considering a January move for Fiorentina playmaker Borja Valero, according to The Telegraph.
The Red Devils are short of options in the centre of the park and they believe the Spaniard would be a great addition to the squad.
Manchester United scouts have watched the 30-year-old in action on several occasions this season and it would appear as though the Old Trafford outfit are readying a January bid for his services.
The Telegraph has suggested that Southampton are also keen on the former Villarreal footballer.
Borja Valero has spent last three and a half years at Artemio Franchi and he admits he wouldn’t mind ending his career at the club.
It remains to be seen whether a call from one of England’s top clubs would be enough to change his mind.
Borja Valero has so far made 110 Serie A appearances for Viola, scoring 10 goals in the process.
