Boro keen to secure permanent Graham deal

Middlesbrough are keen to agree a permanent deal for on-loan striker Danny Graham, according to TalkSport.

The 28 year old moved to the Riverside back in January after difficult spells with Sunderland and Hull City, and he has scored six goals in eighteen league appearances since arriving in the North East.

His temporary deal with Boro ended on the last day of the season, and he is set to return to the Stadium of Light though his future at the club remains unclear.

He has two years remaining on his current contract, though he is yet to feature under current Black Cats manager Gus Poyet.

Sunderland welcome West Bromwich Albion to the Stadium of Light this evening looking to get the three points that would absolutely guarantee their Premier League safety, though a point is likely to be enough due to the goal difference being superior to that on eighteenth place Norwich City.
