Middlesbrough have signed Milos Veljkovic on a three-month loan from Tottenham Hotspur, according to TalkSport.
The 19 year old made his debut for Spurs as a substitute in the 5-1 league win over Sunderland back in April, but has made just two brief cameos since so has been given the opportunity to gain more experience elsewhere.
He moved to North London from Swiss side FC Basel, where he spent the majority of his youth career and was part of the Serbia squad that won the 2013 European Under-19 championships.
The defender trained with his new teammates for the first time on Thursday, and could make his debut against Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium at the weekend.
Aitor Karanka’s side currently sit in fifth place in the Championship, a point behind leaders Norwich City and can be backed at a price of 15/2 to win the division outright.
