German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund welcome Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur at the Westfalenstadion tonight for the first leg of their Europa League last-16 clash, and are big favourites to come away with a win to take to White Hart Lane.
The home side have been in fantastic form in their domestic league ahead of this evening meeting with Spurs, winning four of their last five games in the Bundesliga, as well as picking up six points from nine on home soil in the Europa League. The Germans also beat FC Porto in the last-32 to make it this far.
Such form will see Tottenham very wary of Thomas Tuchel’s side, but they are no slouches themselves this season. The Londoners have dispatched of Fiorentina in the previous round to make it this far, and impressively topped their group with 13 points from six games against opposition such as Anderlecht and AS Monaco.
However, with Dortmund have won five and drawn one of their last six games in all competitions, William Hill are giving them odds of 4/7 for the home side to see past Tottenham tonight to take an aggregate lead into the second leg.
