Along with being able to call upon the likes of starlets Jadon Sancho and the red-hot Erling Haland, BVB have conceded just a sole Bundesliga goal in almost 400 minutes of action and have landed three consecutive clean sheets on home soil. Opening the Bundesliga return sat four points adrift of Bayern and top spot, Saturday’s hosts should be looking to make a statement and grab local bragging rights this weekend.

As for the visitors, while Schalke may have managed to snatch a flattering 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim prior to the break, the Blues are in the midst of their worst run since bringing in former Huddersfield boss David Wagner.
