French daily newspaper L’Equipe has learned that Borussia Dortmund have snatched Barcelona youngster Sergio Gomez.
The Millionaires reached an agreement with the talented forward after matching his €3 million release clause.
As a result, Sergio Gomez will soon put pen to paper on a contract until June 2022 with Borussia Dortmund.
Despite his fragile age, the 17-year-old already made two appearances for Barcelona B in Segunda, while also starring for the Spain Under-17 side.
Four goals scored at the Under-17 World Cup in India helped him catch the eye of Borussia Dortmund and he is now set for a move to German Bundesliga.
