Highly-rated 17-year-old Paris Saint-Germain defender Dan-Axel Zagadou will not be signing a professional deal with the French giants as he looks to cut his path to prominence short elsewhere.
Zagadou has been attracting plenty of interest from Europe’s top sides over the past couple of months and Premier League heavyweights Manchester City were thought to be leading the chase for the talented defender.
Talented defender even went to Manchester where he visited City’s training facilities during winter.
PSG defender was also eyed by Wolfsburg and RB Leipzig but the latest reports coming from France Football claim that Borussia Dortmund have joined the chase and emerged as frontrunners to sign the defender once his contract with PSG expires this summer.
The captain of France U-18 selection has reportedly been convinced with Borussia Dortmund’s project and is convinced that with BVB he would be able to realise his potential at a much quicker pace.
