German giants Borussia Dortmund have stepped up their efforts to sign Corinthians starlet Malcom Filipe Silva de Oliveira, Bild has learned.
The Millionaires are not exactly spoilt for options up front and they seem ready to address the issue in the January transfer window.
According to Bild, Borussia have made Corinthians forward Malcom their number one target, having been impressed with the youngster’s performances.
The Millionaires are prepared to offer €13 million for the talented footballer and they have been in contact with the player and his representatives.
It remains to be seen whether Corinthians will be ready to part ways with one of country’s hottest prospects, although this does seem like the perfect moment to cash in on his services.
After scoring 5 goals to help his side lift the Brazilian Serie A title, Malcom have been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Benfica, with Dortmund joining the chase as well.
