According to a recent report from The Telegraph, Borussia Dortmund are growing increasingly confident that they could be the ones to secure the signing of Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham.
The 16-year-old was given a tour of Carrington a few months back, but now, Dortmund believe that they are the ones in the driving seat. The Blues teenager has been at the heart of intense speculation for months on end, with many believing him to be one of the most exciting young prospects England has produced in years.
Dortmund has a history of helping turn young players into stars, with Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho serving as two perfect examples of why they’re such an appealing club to go to. Whether or not Bellingham is ready and willing to make the move over to Germany at such a young age, though, is a different matter altogether. After all, it’s a big change.
