Borussia Dortmund eyeing Olivier Giroud

French media outlet Le 10 Sport understands that Borussia Dortmund are hot on the trail of Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.

The Frenchman is one of the players the Millionaires are looking at as they prepare for life after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Borussia Dortmund officials are well aware of the fact that Giroud is unhappy at the lack of playing time at the Emirates and they could step up their interest in January.

The France international has been playing second fiddle to compatriot Alexandre Lacazette this season, but did well to score 4 goals in just over 4 hours of Premier League football.

Giroud, nonetheless, remains first choice in the France national team and could now get a chance to finally secure regular playing time, albeit outside of England.
