Borussia Dortmund have managerial shortlist

According to a recent report from Sport Bild, German giants Borussia Dortmund have put together a four-man shortlist of managers that could potentially replace Lucien Favre as the club’s new manager. Mauricio Pochettino, who recently left Tottenham Hotspur, is amongst the four names alongside Ralf Rangnick, Niko Kovac and Roger Schmidt. 

The options are out there for Dortmund, and it’s all about making an appointment that would work within the core of their squad. They have specific needs and desires in regards to the way in which they play, and playing to those strengths is what they need to do in order to live up to that. 

Jurgen Klopp was able to do some memorable things during his time over in Germany, and some would say it’s still an unfinished project. In order to find similar success, Dortmund need a boss with that sort of personality and tactical intent. Otherwise, they could continue to struggle.
