Borussia Dortmund interested in Manchester United’s Amad Diallo

Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Amad Diallo from Manchester United in the January transfer window, according to Sky Deutschland. However, the German outfit are not the only club interested in signing Diallo this month. Derby County, now managed by former United star Wayne Rooney, are also keen on signing the 19-year-old winger on loan until the end of the season.

Diallo officially joined United from Atalanta in January 2021. Much was expected of the 19-year-old when he arrived at Old Trafford, but he has failed to establish himself in the first team at the Premier League and European giants. The United no. 16 has yet to play in the Premier League this season and has played just once in the Champions League this campaign.

Leaving United on loan to Dortmund or Derby would help Diallo progress and develop as a footballer. There is no point in the Ivory Coast international winger playing Under-23s football at United now.
