Borussia Dortmund keen on Olivier Giroud

German giants Borussia Dortmund are believed to be hot on the trail of Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud, according to Le 10 Sport. 

The Frenchman is looking to leave the Gunners following the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette, with Marseille and Lyon keen on his services.

However, Giroud doesn’t seem prepared to return to French Ligue 1 just yet, as he wants to continue playing at the highest level.

And Borussia Dortmund might just offer him the perfect escape route from North London as the Millionaires see the Frenchman as a good replacement for wantaway striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

BVB obviously first need to find a buyer for the Gabonese before they can launch an assault on Giroud and they have given Aubameyang just few more days to find a new club or else he will be staying at Signal-Iduna Park.
