Borussia Dortmund have shown interest in Sochaux midfielder Marvin Martin, according to L’Equipe.
The Bundesliga champions are looking to reinforce the squad before the start of the Champions League campaign, with boss Jurgen Klopp only after young and talented footballers.
After signing Ilkay Gundogan and Ivan Perisic, BVB are now ready to offer €10 million for Sochaux midfielder Marvin Martin.
The 23-year-old was one of the revelations of the last Ligue 1 campaign, providing no less than 19 assists for his teammates.
Martin proved his worth on international stage as well, scoring two goals and setting up another one on his debut for France, having had come on as a second-half substitute.
The player, whose contract with Sochaux doesn’t expire until 2014, is considered a key part of les Lionceaux squad, but the club could decide to cash in on their most prized asset should the right offer come along.
