Borussia Dortmund set for Witsel bargain

According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund could be set to land Axel Witsel for just €10 million. Witsel has already touched down in Germany in order to complete his move, and it seems as if the German giants won’t have to pay a ridiculous amount in order to acquire his services.

The 29-year-old Belgian midfielder has been consistently criticised for competing in leagues that don’t really test him in the way that the major European leagues would, but now, those doubts will be put to rest as he prepares to test himself in the realms of Bundesliga.

Witsel has often been viewed as a ‘what if’ player in that sense, with many fans wanting to see what he’s capable of on a bigger stage. He’ll be joining a Dortmund team that is attempting to reach the heights of a few years ago once again when they were challenging both in Europe and domestically.
