Bundesliga heavyweights Borussia Dortmund will announce a permanent deal with Barcelona on-loan striker Paco Alcacer on Sunday, according to reports coming from Bild.
The 25-year-old Spanish international moved to Germany on a season-long loan deal during the summer transfer window and went on to make a sensational introduction in the Bundesliga.
Alcacer bagged nine goals in just eight appearances with BVB, including a winner in his team’s thrilling 3-2 victory over archrivals Bayern Munich two weeks ago.
Paco Alcacer’s flying form has prompted the Borussia Dortmund chiefs to speed up the process of negotiating a permanent deal for the out-of-favour Barcelona man and now Bild reports that the Spaniard is set to be announced at a club’s general assembly on Sunday.
Dortmund will pay €23 million to sign Alcacer on a permanent deal and further €5 million in performance related bonuses and add-ons.
Alcacer will sign a five-year contract with the club and remain in Dortmund until 2023.
