Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund are on the verge of signing Cottbus hotshot Leonardo Bittencourt, according to Bild.
The German giants have reportedly had an offer in the region of €3.5 million accepted by Cottbus.
The player is now expected to sign a five-year deal with Borussia, and the transfer should be officially announced in the coming days.
Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen and Schalke were also keen on the 17-year-old, but Bild reveals that BVB have won the race for the player’s signature.
The young midfielder is considered to be one of the brightest talents in Germany, and it was only a matter of time before he joined a bigger club.
