According to Fabrizio Romano, Borussia Dortmund have completed all the necessary steps in signing Ramy Bensebaini from Borussia Monchengladbach on a free transfer, though the official confirmation from the Bundesliga runners-up is still to come. The paperwork has been signed, and the medical is done.
Dortmund have confirmed the departures of five players: goalkeeper Luca Unbehaun, right-back Felix Passlack, midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud, striker Anthony Modeste, and long-serving left-back/midfielder Raphael Guerreiro. Bensebaini arrives to replace the latter in the squad.
