According to a recent report from Bild, German giants Borussia Dortmund will be attempting to seal the signing of Julian Brandt during the summer transfer window. Brandt has been with Leverkusen since making the jump over back in 2014, and is considered to be one of their star players in the first team. He is also a German international, having made his debut for the senior squad back in 2016.
The 22 year old has been linked with a move to Liverpool, too, having impressed in his altered midfield role this season. If he did make the move over to Dortmund then he’d also probably be a featured star in the realms of the first team, and given his age, he’d have much more time left to grow in the role.
Leverkusen are currently situated in 6th place in the Bundesliga table, whereas Dortmund are battling it out for the title alongside Bayern Munich.
