Borussia Dortmund want Mandzukic

According to a recent report from Sport Bild, Borussia Dortmund are interested in bringing two Juventus stars to the club during the January transfer window – Emre Can and Mario Mandzukic, with an offer reportedly being put in place of around £25 million for the pair. Can has been a known target of Dortmund’s for a while now, but the Mandzukic interest certainly appears to be a little bit more fresh. 

Mandzukic has made no secret whatsoever of the fact that he is interested in sealing a move away from the Italian champions sooner rather than later, and Dortmund seems as good of a place as any to go. 

There’s always the possibility that he leaves Europe entirely in favour of a move to Major League Soccer with David Beckham’s Inter Miami, or perhaps another club around the league. Either way there are certainly options available to him, and that’ll be the case between now and the summer.
