Borussia Dortmund have moved into fourth place in the German Bundesliga after a 0-1 win at Karlsruhe in Friday’s only game.
The only goal of the match came after 20 minutes. Hajnal sent a cross from the right wing and Mohamed Zidan beat both defender Sebastian and keeper Miller to open the score.
Borussia controlled the game from then on and secured three valuable points. In the worst case, coach Klopp’s men would be back in sixth place after this weekend’s remaining fixtures.
Pressure mounts on Karlsruhe manager Becker. His side are now in 16th place and could even be last after this week’s games.
