Competition: Europa League

Market: Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals

Odds: 4/5 @ Bet 365

Looking to carry on their unbeaten run in this years Europa League, Eintracht Frankfurt will host Marseille at the Commerzbank-Arena on Thursday night.

Starting with the hosts, enjoying their brightest start to the season, few would have expected the rise of Eintracht Frankfurt. Picking up a 3-1 win over Augsburg last time out, they are now enjoying a four match winning run and have now not lost a single match since September. Remarkably winning 10 of their last 1 matches, they have now scored three goals in each of their last four outings. One man to watch for the hosts will be leading Bundesliga goalscorer Luka Jovic. Now scoring 12 goals already this season, he is averaging a goal every 68 minuets.

As for the visitors, while Marseille’s slow start to the season has written off almost any chance of reaching the knockout stage of this years Europa League, the Blues have shown some signs of life thanks to the form of top scorer Florian Thauvin. Scoring a hat-trick in last weekend’s 3-1 win over Amiens the French international also now has four in his last two for Rudi Garcia’s side. While they have now scored five in their last two, there are still some clear defensive issues at Marseille. With just one clean sheet in their last six matches, they have also now conceded six goals in their last three matches away from home.
