Two sides looking to book their spot in the fifth round of this year’s FA Cup, National league high flyers Barnet will host Brentford on Monday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Barnet might be coming off the back of a 4-0 defeat at Braintree earlier in the month, the mood in Darren Currie’s side will be on a high. Picking up a very impressive win away at Championship title contenders Sheffield United in the last round, the Oranges are unbeaten in their four previous outings and will be looking for a push up the National League table. With the chance to pick up another notable scalp on their FA Cup run, it will be their form at the Hive most impressive Currie. Barent are unbeaten in their last five matches in the capital, winning four of those clashes. Finding the net in each of their last seven matches on home soil, they should be confident of extending that tally.

As for the visitors, while Brentford might have taken some time to adjust to life under Thomas Frank, the Bees have done an impressive resurge entering the New Year. Coming off the back of a 4-2 win over Rotherham last weekend, they have now won their last three matches on the bounce and are yet to be beaten since the middle of December. Despite recording just one clean sheet in their last four appearances, Frank will be most impressed by his sides form in the final third. With Neal Maupay already bagging 17 goals this season, Brentford have scored seven goals in their last two.
